Adrianne McEwen DTCM, R.Ac, FABORM, CHN

Adrianne is the clinical director of Body in Balance Acupuncture. She is a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Registered Acupuncturist and a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (FABORM). In addition, she holds a diploma in Holistic Nutrition. Her education and skill set allow Adrianne to incorporate TCM, acupuncture and nutritional advice into her treatments.

Adrianne has a special interest in women’s health and obstetrics. Early in her career, she was fortunate to be mentored by Dr. Leslie Ring-Adams wherein she gained valuable knowledge and clinical experience in the areas of women’s health, infertility, obstetric disorders and assisted reproductive technology.

Although her primary focus is on women’s health, Adrianne also treats digestive disturbances, stress, insomnia, pain and a variety of skin conditions including acne. She sees a direct link between health a nutrition and incorporates advice on nutritious recipes, healthy shopping, cooking and eating habits wherever she can.

On a personal note, Adrianne has been involved with competitive volleyball as both an athlete and coach. She enjoys running, yoga and exploring the beautiful Rocky Mountains with her husband and daughters.

Debbie Jarrett, DTCM, R.Ac

Debbie attained her doctorate degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture at the Canadian College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Calgary. As part of her studies she completed a medical internship in Jinan, China where she had the opportunity to study in the departments of neurology, gynecology, internal medicine, and pediatrics.

Debbie became interested in women’s health early in her career and had the opportunity to study in London, England with practitioners specializing in the field of fertility. This experience provided valuable insight into the integration of eastern and western medicine and inspired her to focus her treatment in women’s health, fertility and obstetrics.

Although focused in women’s health, Debbie enjoys treating a broad range of health challenges and helping patients overcome a variety of conditions. She truly believes in the power of acupuncture in treating the body as whole, regaining balance and helping to improve health.  Debbie listen’s to the needs of her patients and works together to incorporate real life solutions that patients can follow.

Debbie combines the use of acupuncture, herbs, diet and lifestyle assistance in her treatments and aims at creating a safe, comfortable and compassionate environment with all her patients.

Kerri McLean, DTCM, R.Ac

For the last 10 years Kerri has studied how breath and movement can become the foundation for healing through the practice of yoga. In addition, she has supported more than a hundred births by emotionally and physically assisting mothers and families at the time of labour and delivery as her role as a birth doula.

Kerri completed her formal education in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She loves listening to her patients to create a specialized treatment plan to help them achieve their health and wellness goals. Kerri’s passion is treating women’s health, as well as treating a variety of conditions by blending ancient wisdom with the growing research in acupuncture.

In her free time Kerri loves frequenting local coffee shops to sip on cappuccinos, baking and stepping on to her yoga mat.

Kerri is a Yoga Teacher, Doula and Registered Acupuncturist.
