clomid

Thanks everyone for the info on clomid side effects....I've been having a terrible time sleeping this week and have insane hot flashes during the night that wake me up. I didn't clue in until today that it could be a side effect of the drugs. As a result, I'm exhausted all day. I thought I just had some kind of subconcious stress or something.

After 2 having done 2 rounds of IVF, including a flare protocol I thought the clomid would be a piece of cake but am finding that I'm affected more by the clomid than the other drugs I've taken. Hoping we don't have to do this for several months and that we're successful on the first IUI.

Hi budgetgirl,

Hope you are well!!

Some women have found they have stronger side effects to either clomid or to the IVF drugs. Maybe that's why you're feeling so much more now with this cycle.

Wishing you loads of luck with this IUI cycle.

Thanks Leslie. We're now waiting to see if the first IUI worked....trying to stay busy to keep my mind off the results. Waiting 18 days feels like absolutely forever.....especially given it follows the wait for the LH surge to go for the procedure.
